Getting Started - Setting Up Zones

The Point-to-Point Zone Pricing system is used to automatically determine the service fees to be charged for each job. We will cover the Point-to-Point Zone Pricing system later in this tutorial. First, you will need to add some Zones to your database so that the Point-to-Point Zone Pricing system will function correctly. A Zone can be listed as anything you want, from zip codes to city names. You may also have as many Zones as you want. Each Zone is identified by a name that can be up to 12 characters long.

  1. Click Setup>Zone Names.
  2. In the Zone Names window that appears click "Add New Zone".

In the blank cell that appears, enter the name of the zone. Remember you have up to 12 characters.

  1. Hit <Enter>.
  2. Again click "Add New Zone" and enter another zone.
  3. Hit <Enter> again.
  4. Now that you have at least two zones in your database, you may continue entering your Zones, or click "Close" and move to the next step.
